The Autumn Season: Pumpkin Spice Latte Review
Fall is here and so is the Pumpkin Spice latte!
With fall and Halloween being here, Starbucks has released its seasonal drink. It’s marketed as “Our signature espresso and steamed milk with the celebrated flavor combination of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg and clove. Enjoy it topped with whipped cream and real pumpkin-pie spices,” via their website Pumpkin Spice Latte: Starbucks Coffee Company Sounds delicious doesn’t it? But the people drinking it all have differing opinions.
Senior Husky Sasha Benjamin said, “I like them. Good flavor but they can be a little too sweet sometimes.” So she agrees that they’re good and waits for them every fall season.
But for Junior Gabby Robertson she said, “Pumpkin cold brew is better.” So not everyone shares the same opinion of it being good.
A senior, Moani Patlan, said, “It tasted really strong and really sweet, it’s not for me.”
It was exciting going into it because I like things that taste like pumpkin and the taste of cinnamon so it was a win-win for me. When picking up the drink, the presentation looked good, it had whipped cream on top and cinnamon dusting it. I bought a grande so I can experience all of it. I took the first sip and instantly liked it. It tasted exactly like pumpkin pie, which I love. It’s my favorite thing to have during the fall season so to have a drink that was a pumpkin in a drink form, mind-blowing. You could taste the nutmeg and the other cinnamon chunks and the crunchy ice chunks. All of it mixed was amazing to taste. So for me, I liked the drink.
So if you can buy the drink and try it. Maybe you’ll like it, maybe you won’t.
