One Killed, Another Injured in Side-By-Side Rollover Near Surprise as Maricopa County Deputies Investigate Wednesday Evening Crash

SURPRISE, AZ — One person died and another was hurt after an off-road side-by-side rolled over near Surprise on Wednesday evening. The crash happened just after 7 p.m. near 185th Avenue and Deer Valley Road, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office.

What deputies found

When deputies got to the scene, they found the side-by-side had overturned with two people inside. One person was pronounced dead at the scene, while the second was taken to a hospital with injuries officials said were not life-threatening.
