Man Arrested on Falcon Way in Yerington After Lyon County Drug and Gun Enforcement Operation With Federal Agents

YERINGTON, NV — A man was arrested on Falcon Way in Yerington during a criminal enforcement operation that brought together the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit and federal agents. The operation took place on June 16 and centered on drugs and firearms, according to authorities.

The sheriff’s office said the arrest was made by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, while additional criminal charges are still pending in Lyon County.

Federal and Local Teamwork

Deputies worked with Homeland Security Investigations and ICE during the coordinated effort. The sheriff’s office said the collaboration was part of its ongoing approach to aggressive law enforcement.

Officials thanked both federal agencies for helping with the operation in Lyon County.

Authorities identified the man as Adrian Pelayo-Garcia. The pending Lyon County charges include trafficking cocaine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of cocaine for sale and possession of methamphetamine for sale.

He also faces counts tied to firearms, including possession of a firearm by an illegal alien and possession of a firearm in relation to drug-related charges.

What Deputies Alleged

The charges listed by investigators suggest the case involves both narcotics distribution and weapons possession. The sheriff’s office did not provide additional details about the evidence or the circumstances of the arrest.
