Jerry Springer has Died
On April 27th, 2023 American TV reality show host Jerry Springer was 79 when died in his battle of pancreatic cancer. He died peacefully in his suburban Chicago home surrounded by friends and family.
Springer was beloved by all and hosted the ‘The Jerry Springer Show’ which was in its own world and would have fans all around the world itching to watch it. It was wild and did not have any filter whatsoever. Its crazy and rambunctious live crowd would always cheer “Jerry, Jerry, Jerry!”
When hearing of his death Senior Husky Naliyah Richey said, “I’m just so sad. I used to watch him when I was kid and I would always remember them chanting ‘Jerry, Jerry, Jerry.’ I had to literally put my phone down and take a moment. He taught us how to be messy irl.”
Interviewing another Senior John Henry says that, “He was the goat and just overall fun to watch all the crazy stuff happen on his show. He was an inspiration to all of us.”
But before anything came to fruition on his end Springer was a politician, lawyer, and journalist aside from his acting and producer positions. Springer was born to parents escaping the Holocaust in London, England and was born on February 13, 1944. Springer failed to get a position in the U.S congress and was even mayor in Cincinnati in 1977.
Jerry Springer married Micki Velton in 1973 and they had a daughter together named Katie Springer. They’ve been together ever since, 50 years to be exact, and rumors that spread that they divorced in 1994 were complete lies.
In his film career Springer was in Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me, made an appearance in The Masked Singer and of course ‘The Jerry Springer Show” and his other show called “Judge Jerry.”
Jerry Springer is buried in Chicago with a lot right next to him for his wife. He’s survived of course by his daughter and wife. The awesome and outrageous Jerry Springer will be missed.
