Boy’s Water Polo

John W. North Boys water polo team experienced a tough season the year. The team was short of many members and forced to frantically search for athletes. In their search of athletes, they were successful in gathering enough athletes for a full team. This year the boys water polo team was able to have a full varsity team. With many of the athletes being new to waterpolo, the team suffered to do well against the other well experienced teams. The boy’s water polo was able to put up a good fight against some of their opponents. The Huskies had an overall score of 4-19 and ended league with 0-4.

“I’m really proud of what our team accomplished this season. While we didn’t win a ton of games, we grew in our knowledge of the game, grew in our individual skills, and we learned to compete together as a team. I’m excited to build on that next year and hopefully win a few more games,”said boy’s water polo coach Mr. Paulos.

The majority of the experienced water polo players are returning members and are expecting a much better season next year. They will continue to practice and improve throughout the off-season, hopefully preparing themselves to take on the season next year with roaring vengeance. Continue to support our Huskies and be looking forward to next year!
