Ching Sergeant Class of 2020

North Star: What path do you plan on taking after graduating?
Ching Sergeant: Next year I will be attending University of California Irvine.
NS: Why did you choose this route?
CS: I decided to choose Irvine because of the distance from home as well as the opportunities that I could get there will hopefully lead me to law school in the future.
NS: What are you majoring in?
CS: I am majoring in Criminology, Law and Society.
NS: Who is your favorite teacher(s) at North?
CS: It’s hard to choose a favorite teacher since there are so many amazing adults who have had an impact on my life and the lives of all the students at North. That being said, some notable ones for myself would be Mr. and Mrs. Hightower, Ms. Dumancic, Mr. Gonzalez, Gonsalves, Jackson, and Fezzey. Every single one of the teachers I’ve had these past four years have helped me become the person I am today.
NS: What things were you involved in at North?
CS: During my time at North I have been on the Mock Trial team, President of National Honors Society, an officer in Harlequins, one of the Comedy Sportz managers and one of the drum majors of the Blue Star Regiment.
